How this page works, and how to make it yours

For conferences sold on their programme

People justify a conference ticket to their manager with the programme: who is speaking, what they will learn and what it costs. Tech Conference is a dark printed programme with a grey wall of speakers, a tabbed timetable with tracks as columns, ticket price phases, a drawn venue map and a signal red buy button.

It suits developer, product or design conferences, technical summits and leadership or industry conferences with tracks and workshops. Choose it when the event is ticketed and the programme is the reason to go.

How the page sells tickets

The hero defines the audience, “The conference for teams that ship”, with edition, city, dates and venue. Speakers shows a wall of speakers and explains that every talk is a first-hand account.

The programme introduces three tracks and the format of talks. Agenda is the full timetable by day and room, with recording availability. Tickets shows price phases and what every ticket includes. Venue and travel uses a drawn map with transport and hotels.

Last year gives figures from the post-event survey. Partners explains that sponsors do not buy talks, code of conduct sets four enforced rules, buy counts down to the next price rise, and questions helps attendees make the case to their manager, including refunds and invoices.

That last section is a small but effective touch. Many attendees need approval, and giving them the answers finance will ask for turns interest into a purchase order.

Adjusting the look

Four schemes are included: Signal red, Terminal cyan, Lime and Amber. Headings can be Space Grotesk, Epilogue or Archivo. Twelve images are used, mostly speaker portraits shown in grey; consistent headshots matter.

Speakers, agenda and ticket phases are editable. Ask the AI to lay out your session list in the agenda format.

Writing it for your event

Starting from the template is free. For about 20 credits, the AI writes your copy into the design. Include the event name, edition, dates and venue, speakers and talk titles, tracks and agenda, ticket phases and inclusions, travel and hotels, last year’s figures, partner policy, code of conduct and refund terms.

Programme details to finalise first

Conference tickets sell on who is speaking and when, so the programme needs to be firm before the page goes live. For each speaker, collect a matched portrait, current role, company and talk title with a short abstract. Give talks codes that link the speakers wall to the timetable. If some slots are still open, say how many remain to be announced and when.

The timetable needs days, tracks, rooms and times with the time zone, plus which sessions are recorded and when recordings are available. Workshops with limited capacity should show how to reserve a place. The ticket section needs each price phase with its end date, what every ticket includes, such as meals, recordings and social events, and whether prices include tax. Group and company discounts, invoicing and refund or transfer policies are common questions from employers paying for tickets, so answer them.

The venue section works with a drawn map showing halls, rooms and entrances, plus travel details, nearby hotels and accessibility information. State your code of conduct and how to report problems. Twelve photographs are used, and images from previous editions, such as full rooms, speakers mid-talk and hallway conversations, sell the experience better than venue renders.

Explain how speakers are chosen and whether they are paid or sponsored. Attendees at professional events increasingly want to know that talks are not bought slots, and the sample states this directly.

Summits, leadership events and meetup finales

A technical summit with one track can simplify the timetable into a single running order. Leadership and industry conferences usually add roundtables, networking formats and who attends by role and company size. A paid meetup series finale can shorten to one evening, list the community organisers and keep the ticket phases small and friendly.

When another template fits better

Tech Conference is ticketed and professional. A free one-day event with registration fits Event, and a trade show with exhibitors Trade Expo Floor Plan. A camping music festival belongs on Music Festival, and a cohort course with live sessions on Course Early-Bird Enrolment.
