How this page works, and how to make it yours

For courses with a start date and a teacher

Online learners are tired of video libraries they never finish. A live cohort is a different product, and the page has to show why: a real timetable, instructors who still do the work and a weekly commitment people can plan around. Learning Platform is a clean teal-on-white template with a live-session hero and a term timetable, and the goal is saving a seat in a cohort.

It suits live-cohort course platforms, online schools, bootcamps, workshop series and corporate training. Choose it when the conversion is a seat in a dated cohort and the page must show dates, instructors, time commitment and price.

How the page fills a cohort

The hero makes the positioning personal, “Learn it from someone who did it last week”, with the term start date and a picture of a live session. A numbers band shows learners, completion rate, cohort size and instructors.

Courses lists the term’s courses with start dates, length and cap. How a course runs explains the steps from saving a seat to finishing, including the level check. Instructors explains how teachers are chosen and introduces them, and a week inside shows the timetable of live sessions and project work so learners can see the real time cost.

A learner quote ties a course to a business result. Pricing is per course with everything that is included, questions covers missed sessions and refunds, and the page ends with the save a seat form, which charges nothing today.

Making it yours

Four schemes come with the template: Campus teal, Scholar amber, Night indigo and Royal blue. Font pairings are Lexend with Inter, Familjen Grotesk with Hanken Grotesk, and Archivo with Plus Jakarta Sans. Eight photographs are used, mainly instructors and live sessions; screenshots of your own classes work well.

The course list, weekly timetable and pricing are editable in the page editor. Each term, select the courses section and ask the AI to update it from your new schedule.

Writing it for your school

You can start from the template at no cost, or tick “Write the text for my business” for about 20 credits and the AI replaces the sample copy while keeping the layout. Include the term dates, each course with length and cap, how instructors are selected, the weekly time commitment, price per course and what it includes, and how seats are confirmed.

What to settle before opening a cohort

A live-cohort page sells a date, a teacher and a weekly commitment, so decide those details first. For each course listed, confirm the first session date, the day and time of live sessions, the number of weeks, the cap on seats and the price. The week-inside section should add up honestly, including live time, assignments and any optional office hours, so learners can judge whether it fits around work.

Instructor profiles need current roles, the companies they work for, and something they built or shipped recently. The numbers band is more believable when completion rates are given for a named period. Collect one or two learner quotes that describe a result achieved during the course, such as a project finished or a change made at work, rather than general praise. Eight photographs are used, and screenshots of a live session are more convincing here than pictures of people with laptops.

Online schools, bootcamps and corporate training

An online school with self-paced courses can keep the instructors and pricing but replace dated cohorts with modules and access length. Bootcamps usually need a longer page, with an application step, career support and outcomes data added after the course list. Corporate training providers can turn seat pricing into team packages and add a section on reporting for managers, while workshop series can shorten each course to a single evening.

When another template fits better

Learning Platform is built for live classes. Self-paced online courses sold with checkout are better on Online Courses Daylight, and a single programme with an early-bird deadline suits Course Early-Bird Enrolment. In-person tutoring and exam prep fit Course Enrolment, and if you sell an ebook or guide rather than a course, Book Launch is simpler.

Compare them on the course and education templates page.

Before you publish

  • Check course dates, caps and prices for the current term.
  • Make sure the completion rate states how it was measured.
  • Get permission for the learner quote and its figures.
  • Keep the seat form's questions to what you need to check level.
04 questions

Before you start

What kind of course business is this for?
Live-cohort course platforms, online schools, bootcamps, workshop series and corporate training: anything with dated classes, instructors and a seat to hold.
Can we list many courses?
The courses section is a list you can extend. For a large self-paced catalogue with checkout, Online Courses Daylight is built for that.
Does the seat form take payment?
No. It holds a place and your team follows up with a payment link, which suits cohort courses where the level is checked first.
Which schemes are included?
Campus teal, Scholar amber, Night indigo and Royal blue, with Lexend, Familjen Grotesk or Archivo headings.
