Parchment, deep navy and bronze rules, a classic serif
A parchment, navy and bronze page with a classic serif for law firms, accountants and advisers who sell judgement: named partners, plain matters, published fees and a same-day reply.

The headings are the demo's own sample text. Your brief, or the AI copy pass, replaces them; the structure stays.
We answer the question you asked, in writing, within one working day.

Six areas. Nothing outside them.

The partner on the call does the work.

Four habits, kept since 1974.

Recent work, plainly described.

What it costs, before you instruct.

Questions asked before instructing.

Tell us the question. A partner replies the same day.

A client choosing a lawyer or accountant is buying judgement they cannot inspect in advance. They look for signs: a clear scope, senior people doing the work, a way of working that avoids surprises and, increasingly, a fee before they instruct. Counsel Practice is an editorial template in parchment, deep navy and bronze rules with a classic serif, and it closes on a consultation request answered the same day.
It suits law firms and chambers, accountancy and audit practices, chartered surveyors and architects, management consultancies, advisory partnerships, notaries and patent attorneys. Choose it when the brief sells expertise and discretion.
The hero commits to a service standard, “We answer the question you asked, in writing, within one working day”, under a line with practice areas, year of founding and address. Practice lists six areas and says the firm does nothing outside them, which reads as confidence.
People names partners with practice area and years of experience and promises that the partner on the call does the work. Approach sets out four habits, such as giving a view before options and quoting fees first. Matters describes recent work plainly, with value and duration.
Fees publishes typical costs, starting with the free first consultation. Questions answers what clients ask before instructing, and the page ends with a consultation request that confirms confidentiality from the first message.
Four schemes are included: Deep navy, Ink black, Claret and Forest green. Headings are Crimson Pro, Newsreader or Literata, paired with IBM Plex Sans, Barlow or Mulish. Four photographs are used, typically the office and partners; formal portraits work well here.
Practice areas, partner entries and fees are editable in place. Select a section and ask the AI to adjust the tone, for instance to be warmer for private clients.
You can start from the template for free, or tick “Write the text for my business” for about 20 credits and the AI writes your copy into the design. Include your practice areas, partners and experience, your service standards, recent matters you can describe, fees and what they cover, and how enquiries are handled.
A professional firm page commits the partners to promises in public, so agree them first. The hero states a reply standard, such as a written answer within one working day, and that has to be something the firm can keep, including during holidays and busy periods. The practice list should name only the areas where you do substantial work, and say what you do when a matter falls outside them.
Each partner profile needs a name, practice area, years of experience and a photograph. For recent matters, check client confidentiality and professional rules before describing any work, and describe matters in general terms with a value and a timeline where permitted. The fees section works best with fixed prices for common instructions and hourly rates by seniority, with what is included in each. Check your regulator’s requirements for price transparency, complaints information and registration numbers, which many jurisdictions require on the page.
An accountancy practice can turn the practice areas into services such as audit, tax and advisory, with fixed annual fees for common entities. Chartered surveyors usually list survey types with prices by property value. Management consultancies can keep the approach section and replace matters with engagements and outcomes. Notaries and patent attorneys can publish fees for standard filings and explain the process from first consultation to registration.
Counsel Practice is traditional. A consultancy or engineering firm that prefers strict modern order will like Swiss Grid, and an independent adviser or coach fits Solo Consultant. Banking, bookkeeping and treasury products belong on Quiet Ledger, and estate agents with the same understated tone should see Estate Agency.
