How this page works, and how to make it yours

For houses where the clothes do the talking

Luxury pages fail when they decorate. A fashion house or jeweller needs white space, confident type and photography that is allowed to be the product. Maison Monochrome is white with hairline rules and a Didone display face, with no third colour anywhere, and it ends at an appointment rather than a checkout.

It suits fashion houses and ateliers, jewellery and watch makers, eyewear and fragrance labels, galleries and design studios. Choose it when the photography is the product and the brand is sold in person.

How the page is paced

The hero is a poster: a single look photographed large, the collection name and a two-word headline, “Eleven coats.”, with materials and where they are made. The collection lists every piece with its number, fabric and price range, like a catalogue page.

The house tells the founder’s story in a few lines and explains why the collection is small. Atelier walks through the fittings step by step for made-to-measure. Stockists lists where the collection can be seen, city by city.

Care commits to repairs rather than replacement, often free, which signals quality better than any adjective. Questions covers sales, ordering without an appointment and delivery, and the page ends with an appointment request answered by a cutter the same day.

Keeping it yours

The default is pure Ink, black on white. Oxide red, Ink navy and Moss each add one restrained accent for rules and buttons. Type pairings are Prata over Archivo, Playfair Display over Manrope, or Cormorant Garamond over Hanken Grotesk. Six photographs carry the demo, so invest in a few excellent images rather than many.

The collection list and stockists are editable text. Select them and ask the AI to rewrite from your line sheet when the season changes.

Writing it for your house

You can start from the template without spending credits, or let the AI write your copy into the layout for about 20 credits. Give it the collection name and pieces with prices, materials and where they are made, the story of the house, how fittings or appointments work, stockists, your care promise and appointment details.

Preparing a collection for a page with no colour

With white ground, hairline rules and not a single accent, this template leaves the photographs and the typography to do everything. Plan the shoot for the page: one hero look with strong silhouette, detail shots of fabric and finishing, and a few pieces photographed flat or on a form. Keep the lighting consistent across all six images, since any colour cast stands out on a monochrome page.

The collection section needs each piece with its name, material and price, numbered in the order you want them read. The house story should be brief and specific: who founded it, when, and the one principle that shapes how you make things. For the atelier section, describe the appointment or fitting process in steps, with durations. Stockists should be listed with city, address and whether they carry the full collection or selected pieces. The care section is a quiet argument for quality, so state what repairs you offer and what they cost.

Jewellery, watches, eyewear and galleries

A jeweller can replace fittings with a design consultation, sizing and the making period, and list metals and stones for each piece. Watchmakers usually add movement and case specifications and a servicing section. Eyewear and fragrance labels can use the collection for frames or scents with materials or notes. A gallery can turn the collection into works in an exhibition, the house into the artist statement, and the appointment into a private viewing.

When another template fits better

Maison Monochrome is quiet luxury. A limited streetwear drop with a waitlist fits Drop Launch, and a luxury private sale with a countdown suits Private Salon Sale. Wedding planners and dressmakers will like Wedding Atelier, and a design studio or gallery presenting a list of projects may prefer Studio Index.

Before you publish

  • Use your own collection photography at high resolution.
  • Check prices and piece names against the line sheet.
  • Confirm stockists still carry the collection.
  • Ask for dates in the city and what the client has in mind in the form.
04 questions

Before you start

Who is Maison Monochrome for?
Fashion houses and ateliers, jewellery and watch makers, eyewear and fragrance labels, galleries and design studios whose photography is the product and whose page ends at an appointment.
Why no accent colour?
The template deliberately uses black, white and hairlines only, so the photographs provide all the colour. Oxide red, navy and moss schemes are available if you want one quiet accent.
Can it sell online?
The sample converts on appointments and lists stockists. You can link collection items to your shop, or use Private Salon Sale for a direct selling event.
Which fonts are included?
Prata over Archivo, Playfair Display over Manrope, or Cormorant Garamond over Hanken Grotesk.
