The Shopify App Store lists about 390 page builder apps, and most of them promise the same thing: a better page without a developer. This guide compares seven Shopify landing page builders on the things you can check before you install one: what the free plan really lets you publish, what the first paid plan costs, how many templates you start from, what the AI does, and how many merchants have reviewed the app.
A note before we start: we make landflow, one of the seven apps below. To keep the comparison fair, every number in this article comes from each app's own Shopify App Store listing, checked on 29 October 2026, and the apps are ordered by how many reviews they have, so ours comes last. Prices are in US dollars per month, before any yearly discount.
The short answer
The best landing page builder for Shopify depends on what the page has to do. If you only read one section, read this one.
- Most proven: PageFly, with a 4.9 rating from 5,919 reviews and a free plan that publishes one page.
- Sales funnels and upsells: GemPages, which adds pre-sell pages, post-purchase upsells and offer testing.
- Built for Shopify badge on a budget: EComposer, from $25 a month, with Shopify's badge for performance, design and integration.
- Large catalogues and teams: Shogun, which also edits product pages, collection pages and blog posts.
- Testing offers and the cart: Instant, with A/B tests that pick a winner and a custom cart drawer.
- Brands with a dedicated growth team: Replo, built around saved sections, analytics and experiments.
- Lead capture on a small budget: landflow, from $19 a month, for pages whose job is to collect sign-ups and enquiries rather than sell in the cart.

How we compared them
A landing page builder earns its place when it gets a page live quickly, keeps it fast, and costs less than the page earns. We looked at six things, all of which you can confirm on the listings yourself:
- The free plan. Some free plans publish a page. Others only let you build drafts or previews, so you pay before anything goes live.
- The first paid plan. What it costs and how many pages it publishes.
- Templates. How many finished pages you can start from. Counts are as each listing states them; some include sections as well as pages.
- AI. Whether the AI drafts a whole page, rewrites copy or only fills in pieces.
- Conversion tools. A/B testing, funnels, upsells and lead forms.
- Reviews and the Built for Shopify badge. The badge means Shopify checked the app against its standards for performance, design and integration.
We did not run speed tests or build the same page in every app, so treat this as a shortlist to try, not a final verdict. Most of these apps have a free plan, which is the quickest way to see whether one suits you.
1. PageFly: the most reviewed page builder
PageFly has been on the App Store since 2017 and has the largest review base of any app here: 4.9 stars from 5,919 reviews. It builds landing pages, product pages and sections, either by drag and drop from more than 320 templates or from a prompt with its FlyMate AI.
The free plan publishes one page or one section and includes 10 AI credits a month. The Builder plan costs $24 a month and starts at five published pages or sections, with extra slots at $5 for five more. Accelerate, at $99 a month, removes the page limit and adds A/B testing, click heatmaps, funnel reports and an AI Page Checkup that scores each page. PageFly also connects to Claude, ChatGPT and Shopify Sidekick, so pages can be built and published from a chat.
Choose PageFly if you want the safest, most widely used option and plan to test pages once traffic grows. Look elsewhere if you need many pages live on a small budget: the per-slot pricing adds up.
2. GemPages: for funnels and upsells
GemPages, also launched in 2017, has a 4.9 rating from 4,272 reviews. Its listing leans towards selling: pre-sell advertorials, post-purchase upsells and downsells, offer testing that tracks average order value, and built-in conversion elements such as countdowns, stock counters, quantity breaks and bundles.
You start from more than 400 templates and theme sections. The free plan publishes one page, and paid plans cost $29 (Build), $59 (Optimize) and $199 (Enterprise) a month. On the AI side, GemPages can turn a reference image into an editable layout and works with AI assistants through its MCP connection.
Choose GemPages if your landing pages are the start of a sales funnel and you want upsells in the same tool. Look elsewhere if you only need a simple page that collects sign-ups.
3. EComposer: Built for Shopify, with generous AI credits
EComposer is newer, launched in 2022, but already has 3,474 reviews at 4.9 stars, and it carries the Built for Shopify badge. It builds any page or section, from landing pages to home, collection and product pages, from more than 400 templates.
The free plan keeps one page or section live with 50 AI credits. Standard costs $25 a month for 15 live pages and 200 AI credits; Pro is $49 for 50 pages and 800 credits; Premium is $129 for unlimited pages and 2,000 credits. Paid plans include a 7-day free trial. More than 30 add-ons cover cross-sells, upsells, pop-ups, back-in-stock alerts and wishlists, and A/B tests and page analytics come with the advanced features.
Choose EComposer if you want the Built for Shopify badge and plenty of features for a modest monthly price. Look elsewhere if you would rather have fewer add-ons and a simpler editor.
4. Shogun: for large stores and teams
Shogun is the oldest app on this list, launched in 2015, with a 4.8 rating from 1,973 reviews and the Built for Shopify badge. It goes beyond landing pages: its visual editor also designs blog posts, product pages, collection pages, the homepage and theme sections, and it can import and optimise existing Online Store 2.0 pages.
The free plan lets you build drafts but not publish them. Build costs $39 a month for 25 published pages, Grow is $199 for unlimited pages and Advanced is $499, each with a 10-day free trial. Yearly billing saves around 20 percent.
Choose Shogun if you are redesigning much of a large store and want one editor for every page type. Look elsewhere if you want to publish something before you pay.
5. Instant: for testing offers and the cart
Instant launched in 2023 and has a 4.9 rating from 352 reviews. Its AI builds a first draft of a page in seconds, which you then finish by drag and drop. The listing counts more than 800 conversion templates, along with a custom cart drawer for upsells, rewards and countdowns, advanced product pages with subscriptions and bundles, and A/B tests that track revenue, click-through and order value and can pick the winner automatically.
The free plan is for development stores only, so a live store needs a paid plan: Starter at $39 a month with a 7-day trial and 1,000 AI credits, Pro at $99 or Business at $249.
Choose Instant if you want to test offers and the cart experience, not only the page. Look elsewhere if you need a free plan on a live store.
6. Replo: for brands with a growth team
Replo launched in 2021 and has a 4.7 rating from 186 reviews. It is built for teams that ship pages often: saved sections keep pages on brand, and Replo Analytics and Experiments handle A/B testing. Its description mentions more than 1,000 templates, while the Starter plan lists more than 200 page templates.
The free plan lets you build and preview pages but not publish them. Starter costs $119 a month for 15 published items and 10,000 A/B testing sessions; Pro costs $599 a month for unlimited pages and sections, five stores and dedicated support.
Choose Replo if landing pages are a core channel and you have the team and budget to run experiments every week. Look elsewhere if you are a small store testing your first campaign.
7. landflow: for pages that collect leads
landflow is our app. It went live on the Shopify App Store on 26 October 2026, so it has no reviews yet and no Built for Shopify badge. Weigh that against the rest of this list.
landflow builds one kind of page: a landing page with a lead form. You start from 196 landing page templates grouped by industry, or describe the offer and let the AI draft the page, then change any word, photo or colour in a visual editor. Each page is isolated in your theme, so it never conflicts with your store's design, and unpublishing removes it completely. Every form submission lands in a leads inbox with the source and campaign that sent it, and you can export leads to CSV.
The free plan publishes one page with three drafts, 400 AI credits, 100 leads and 5,000 views a month. Starter costs $19 a month, the lowest first paid plan in this comparison, for five published pages and 1,000 leads a month, with a 14-day free trial. Growth is $49 and Scale is $149.
Choose landflow if your page's job is to collect sign-ups, pre-orders, waitlists or enquiries, and you want to know which campaign sent each lead. Look elsewhere if you need A/B testing, sales funnels or cart upsells: landflow does not offer them. Read more on landflow for Shopify.
Which Shopify landing page builder should you choose?
Start from the job the page has to do, then match it to the app built for that job.
- You want to start free and publish today: PageFly, GemPages, EComposer and landflow all publish a page on their free plans. Shogun and Replo only build drafts or previews for free, and Instant's free plan is for development stores.
- The page sells one product, with upsells: GemPages or Instant.
- You want to A/B test: PageFly from its Accelerate plan, EComposer, Instant or Replo.
- You are redesigning the whole store: Shogun or EComposer, which edit every page type.
- The page collects leads, not orders: landflow, built for lead forms and attribution.
Whichever you pick, the page still needs the basics: one clear offer, real photographs and one form or button. Our guide to a good landing page experience covers what to check before you publish, and you can browse landing page templates for online shops to see finished examples.
Do you need a landing page builder at all?
Not always. Shopify's own theme editor builds pages from your theme's sections, and for a simple about page or a short announcement that is enough. A landing page builder earns its cost when you need layouts your theme does not have, launch campaign pages often, or want features the theme lacks, such as A/B tests, funnels or lead capture with attribution. If you only publish one page a year, try your theme's sections first.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best landing page builder for Shopify?
There is no single best one. PageFly has the most reviews and a free plan that publishes a page; GemPages suits sales funnels; EComposer and Shogun carry the Built for Shopify badge; Instant and Replo focus on testing; landflow focuses on lead capture. Choose by the job the page has to do.
Is there a free landing page builder for Shopify?
Yes. PageFly, GemPages, EComposer and landflow each let you publish one page on their free plans. Shogun's and Replo's free plans do not publish, and Instant's free plan is for development stores.
Which Shopify landing page builders use AI?
All seven apps list AI features. PageFly, Instant and landflow can draft a whole page from a prompt or brief; EComposer generates layouts, images and copy; GemPages turns a reference image into an editable layout; Shogun and Replo list AI generation. The free plans include fewer AI credits than the paid ones.
What does the Built for Shopify badge mean?
Shopify gives the badge to apps that meet its highest standards for performance, design and integration. In this comparison, EComposer and Shogun have it.
How much does a Shopify landing page builder cost?
The first paid plans in this comparison range from $19 a month (landflow) to $119 a month (Replo). Most apps also offer a free plan or a free trial, and yearly billing usually saves around 17 to 24 percent.
