Privacy Policy — landflow for Shopify

This policy covers the landflow app installed from the Shopify App Store. It is specific to that app: what it reads from your store, what it writes into it, what it keeps, and what happens the moment you uninstall. Everything else about landflow — our website, your account, the leads on your pages — is covered by our main privacy policy, and nothing here contradicts it.

Effective date: 27 September 2026 · Questions: [email protected]

1. What the app reads from your store, and why

The app asks for five permissions at install and uses each of them for one thing:

  • View products — so you can match a product card on a landing page to a real product in your shop. We read the product's name, price, image, status and whether it is on your Online Store.
  • Edit Online Store → Theme and Edit other data → Theme code — so a page you publish becomes a real part of your theme.
  • Edit Online Store → Pages — so the design has a page at /pages/… that serves it.
  • Edit customers — used only when somebody submits a form on one of your landing pages. We look that person up by email or phone and create or update their customer record.

2. What the app does not touch

It never reads your orders, your payouts, your inventory or your customer list. The customer permission is used one person at a time, in response to a form somebody just filled in on your page — the app does not browse, export or analyse the customers you already have.

It never reads or changes a theme file that you or your theme developer wrote. It writes only files it created and named itself, and a write aimed at anything else is refused before it is sent.

3. What the app writes into your store

When you publish a landing page, the app writes four kinds of file, all named after that page so they cannot collide with anything of yours: a section, its snippets, its assets (stylesheet and images), and one page template. It then creates or updates one Online Store page that points at that template.

The page's styles are confined to its own section, so publishing a landing page cannot change how the rest of your storefront looks.

Unpublishing a page removes every file it put in your theme.

4. What we keep on our side

About the shop: its .myshopify.com domain, an access token held encrypted, which permissions you granted, and when the app was installed and last opened. About the products you matched: a copy of the name, price and image of those products only, kept so your page can still be drawn when your shop is slow or unreachable. About the pages: the designs you build and the leads submitted on them, which are yours and are covered by the main policy.

We do not keep a copy of your catalogue, your orders or your customers.

5. Uninstalling deletes it

When you remove the app, Shopify tells us, and we erase the workspace that install created — its pages, its leads, its media and its record of your shop — together with the access token. We do not hold it back for a reinstall. If you install the app again you start from an empty workspace.

The pages already written into your theme stay in your theme, because after an uninstall we no longer have permission to touch it. You can remove them yourself from your theme's files; each one is named after the page it came from.

6. Requests from Shopify

We answer the three privacy webhooks Shopify requires. A request to erase a shop's data finds nothing left, because the uninstall already erased it. A request about one customer is answered directly: the app stores no Shopify customer identifiers, so there is no record on our side that belongs to a particular customer of yours.

7. Who else sees it

Only the sub-processors that run the service, listed in our main privacy policy. Nothing about your store is sold or shared for advertising.

8. Your rights
